Hi everyone, it’s Woop and Wob again! We are here today with a beginner’s guide for the Nintendo and Cygames mobile game, Dragalia Lost! Confused on what to do? Take a look at this guide!
Starting the Game
First thing to do is to load up the game.
Here is a brief summary of the buttons on the main screen:
1) Level/Stamina/Currency: The top right shows your current level, your current stamina and getherwings, and the amount of wyrmites and diamantium you have. You use stamina for solo quests and getherwings for co-op quests. Wyrmites are the limited in-game currency that you use for various things such as summoning. Diamantium is the premium paid currency that can be used for the same things as wyrmites as well as special items such as the Dream Summon (choose a character of your choice) and daily summoning for a discount.
2) Present: Any gifts that you have from log in bonuses or clearing quests can be redeemed here. Be sure to redeem all presents before they expire.
3) Book: Here, you can view your profile, your items, change settings, and more.
4) The first button goes to the announcements page. You can read about current and upcoming events here. The second button goes to the endeavors page. Here, you can see which quests you still have and redeem rewards for quests you finished. The third button is the shop and the fourth button is the alliance page.
5) These two boxes show current and upcoming events.
6) Quests: Click here to go to the quests menu.
7) Upgrade: Here, you can upgrade your characters, dragons, weapons, and wyrmprints.
8) Teams: Set up your teams here. You can create up to 54 different teams.
9) Castle: Upgrade buildings in your halidom, give gifts to your dragons, and read stories about your adventurers and dragons here.
10) Summon: The gacha element of the game. Summon for new adventurers and dragons.
As a new player, you will get daily free ten-fold summons on the current banner for 7 days. This is a great chance to get new adventurers and dragons to build up your team! If you are not satisfied with your summons, you can choose to reroll (start a new account) until you get a character you like.
Be sure to link your account to your Nintendo account! This way, if you lose your Dragalia Lost file, you can recover it through your Nintendo account! You will also get a good amount of wyrmites as a reward for doing so! (You may want to link your accounts after you are finished rerolling.)
Story Quests
The first thing to do is to do the story quests. Try to finish as much as you can to unlock more quests that you can do. Normal difficulty quests use up 0 stamina for the first time!
Milestones to aim for:
1) Chapter 2-1: Necessary to unlock events to play in. Events change on a normal basis and give valuable prizes, so be sure to finish Chapter 2-1!
2) Chapter 7: Complete this chapter fully to unlock Void Battles. Void Battles give you lots of item drops that are important to gather lots of to improve your team.
3) Chapter 9: Complete this chapter to unlock augments. You can use augments to further boost the stats of your adventurers and wyrmprints.
