Hi everyone!
It’s Woop and Wob and today, we will continue our trip report with a review of United Airlines in Economy Class from NYC (LGA) to Chicago (ORD).
Just a reminder, as some of our readers asked us, this was a trip we took at the end of last year, before Covid-19 was even a thing. We all hope that this virus passes soon and everything can return to normal.
Below is the itinerary of the entire trip and we will be posting these posts as they’re ready.

Boarding Process
Since Wob is an ANA Platinum status member, we were able to all board in group 1 along with the first class passengers. There were so many people with status so the line was still quite long. Though it was nice to not have to stress about the overhead bin space since we boarded amongst the first people. Overall, boarding was orderly and seamless for us. :)
Inflight Service
This was a relatively short flight; only about two and a half hours. Despite that, United does have snack service and they passed around Stroopwafels, pretzels, and drinks! If you’ve never had a Stroopwafel before, you absolutely must try it out!
What really surprised us was the fact that the flight attendants walked around two additional times to pass out water. The water was also passed out on a black tray. Now, that truly reminded me of how ANA treats their business class passengers! United does have some great flight attendants in their fleet.
Apologies we weren’t able to take pictures of the seat; there were too many people.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the flight was a quick and pleasant flight. We were very surprised at the superb service we received on this short flight and it was a great precursor for our next flight from Chicago to Tokyo. But before that, we’ll review the United Club in Chicago!
Have a great day everyone!!
