Hi everyone!
It’s Woop and Wob and today, we will start writing about our journey to Thailand several months ago! We begin with a review of the American Express Centurion Lounge in Laguardia Airport.
Note: this is the old Centurion Lounge and due to Covid-19, this lounge is now closed. However, when travel gets back to normal, this lounge will be in a new location past security. We can’t wait till we can go to the new lounge!!
Below is the itinerary and we will be posting these posts as they’re ready.

Access
In order to access the American Express Centurion Lounges across the US, you will need to have an American Express Platinum Card. A cardholder can also bring up to 2 additional guests, which is nice for an odd number party of 3.
This card has an annual fee of $550, but it is well worth the cost because you get a $200 travel credit, $200 uber credits, and $100 Saks Fifth Avenue credit per year. That effectively brings the annual fee down to just $50 and you get a ton of perks! There’s even a way to save from the annual fee, which we will talk about in a future post.
If you don’t have an Amex Platinum card yet, you can sign up with our link and receive 60,000 Amex points after spending $5000: https://bit.ly/woopandwob_amex_platinum
The Food!!!
We went to the Centurion Lounge in the morning, there were delicious breakfast items. There were scrambled eggs, an egg frittata, fresh fruits, and the best french toast ever! There are also some juices and pastries on the side.
The french toast is by far the best french toast we have ever eaten! It is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It is already sweetened, but of course, we love having it sweeter, so we had a side of maple syrup with it.
If you are a keen reader, you’ll notice that they are doing construction of the new Terminal B in the photos. :)
We were so in love with food that we didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the seating (there are plenty of seats and dining tables, so it’s awesome). We’ll be sure to take some pictures next time in the new lounge!
Final Thoughts
The American Express Centurion Lounge is a great way to start any trip and we’re glad we were able to enjoy it’s delicious offerings.
Up next on our trip is a visit to the new United Club in LGA Terminal B. We hope you’ll join us again!
Have a great day everyone!!
