Hello there! Woop and Wob here! Here to bring you our next day at Tokyo, Japan!

Pokemon Cafe

This would be our last day in Japan! :( However, we had an action-packed adventure in this last day, filled with fun and excitement in every hour!

We started our day with a nice breakfast (as usual). What’s on the menu this time? Pudding and custard crepe from 7-Eleven, along with Calpico for our drink.

Now, today was a very special day. One where we had a once-in-a-lifetime experience: the Pokemon Cafe!

Pokemon Cafe

We traveled to the Pokemon Center and Pokemon Cafe located in Nihombashi. The trains in Japan are very convenient and efficient. It was a great way to travel to where you wanted to go in Tokyo in a reasonable amount of time. Don’t forget that you can purchase a Suica or Pasmo IC card to make travelling even easier. This way, you don’t have to look at a complicated map to figure out the fare and you can score discounts too.

Being the only Pokemon Cafe in Tokyo, it was bound to be very popular. Because of this, the only way to get in the cafe and enjoy is to make a reservation several weeks in advance on the main website. We were able to get a nice spot during lunch time by making the reservation about 10 days before. For more information on the Pokemon Cafe and how to make reservations, check out https://www.pokemoncenter-online.com/cafe/.

A giant Snorlax along with Pikachu and Mew greeted us as we arrived at the Pokemon Center Tokyo DX.

You can check out the menu at https://www.pokemoncenter-online.com/cafe/menu/. There are limited edition dishes all the time, so check those out!

Finally, we were able to enter the cafe at our allotted time. The environment was very lovely, full of Pokemon decorations and plushies. Since it was by reservation only, it wasn’t very crowded. However, one thing did stand out to us; there were a handful of empty tables with gift bags on them. Probably, some people made reservations and couldn’t make it.

Welcome to the Pokemon Cafe!
There were plenty of decorations, from Detective Pikachu and Hi-Hat Cafe to the Pokemon Fit Line of plushies. Can you find your favorite Pokemon in here?
Here, we have Chef Pikachu cooking along with a few Waitress Pikachu, and the three legendary birds below.

Reservation Exclusives

In addition to reserving, there is an opportunity to order exclusive goods to be picked up at the cafe. These goods are only purchasable through the website after reserving, and cannot be found at the cafe goods shop. The goods can be seen here: https://www.pokemoncenter-online.com/cafe/goods/, under the Special section.

We decided to buy the three plush keychains and the clear files. It is pretty hard to know if we would be coming back to the cafe, after all.

Our Lunch!

It was now time for our lunch. We ordered our food through the iPad located on our table. Below are the main courses that we got.

Pikachu Curry
Snorlax Hamburg Doria with salad and soup
And an Eevee Variety Plate!

For drinks, we ordered the Gengar grape smoothie. There was a light placed inside the glass to make it look spookier.

Finally, for dessert, we got the Jigglypuff Cheesecake and the Eevee Parfait. There were plenty of details were put into the Jigglypuff cake. Musical notes made of cookies, and a flower shaped whipped cream to make the dessert look like a work of art.

In addition to the parfait, we got an Eevee shaped cookie and two Pocky sticks!

All in all, the food was delicious. Was it worth the price? Well, you will also be paying for the craftsmanship of all the dishes in addition to the food.

Finally, we had a surprise visitor during our stay at the Pokemon Cafe: none other than Eevee!

Eevee looked very happy and fluffy!

After the Pokemon Cafe, we made our way back to the hotel and got ready to go to the airport for our overnight Business Class flight to Bangkok!
